John Pittas is a central New Jersey-based keyboard player who performs and records with some of the area's best bands. John specializes in Hammond organ, acoustic piano, electric pianos, clavinet and accordion, drawing on a variety of musical styles including blues, jazz, gospel, funk, zydeco, roots and rock. Citing organ influences from Jimmy Smith to Art Neville, and piano influences from Otis Spann to Dr. John, with a touch of Payne, Leavell and Ray Charles, John's style melds with everything from laid back bluesy jazz to hard driving rock and rhythm & blues.

John plays regularly with the Castle Browne Band and the VooDUDES. Other recent and upcoming shows include dates with The Fins, Ron Kraemer & the Hurricanes, The Tonemasters, Benny Hi-Fi & the Aces, and Sandy Mack.
